Hi all, got me a 2015 Golf 6 spd manual car.

Current projects:
- Fix the driver side window control
- Re-run the power cable for my dashcam as I’m pretty sure I cable tied it together with something connected to the radio as my radio now emits a low static noise
- Everyone’s favourite: getting CarPlay into the car

Hi and welcome. Hopefully the window issue is just a faulty window switch.

Power cables and signal cables do not like being close to each other, so it looks like you already know what you need to do there.

You should be able to update to a 2016+ model head unit and MIB to have Carplay support. Some of the audio/tech guru's on here could guide you on that, but places like VW Central sell upgrade kits.
