Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hey all. Name's Mike and I'm not from Australia but I live a couple hours from Whistler BC (Canada) which pretty much is Australia 🤣 Does that count?
    Got myself the lame North American version of the R36 (2007 Passat 4motion 3.6 wagon) that I just transplanted an R36 DSG trans (that I bought from VD Adelaide) into and had some questions about, now that it's in the car and fully operational.
    Also looking to expand my parts availability if that's cool with you guys?

      welcome mate, Canadians are always welcome .... especially if they come packing a R36
      Long time VW enthusiast first car 1968 beetle, 09 Tig TDI on Eibach springs and now '18 Tiguan Allspace TDI on KW V1 coils overs and OEM Misano wheels - here for dad wagon chats lowered scrubbing complaints :)
