  • New Tiggy owner from Melbourne

Hi all, just had my new 2021 Tiguan All space R line for about a month and what a machine.

I am spewing I got a diesel because the misses was adamant that's what she wanted, so it lags a bit of kick, but happy enough to own it.

Have just basically removed the ice grate and put a K&N filter in it for now, and cut open the air intake scoop to allow more fresh air into the intake. I want to mod it down the road, as I have previously modded turbo cars, but misses doesn't want me to go to town on this thing.

Welcome aboard! The TDI's can get some tidy increases in low end torque with a stage 1 tune which is probably the sweet spot for the 147TDI .

Thanks for the reply tigger73, I was considering this, but was warned off from doing it by a friend who has a workshop specialising in German vehicles. He said these engines are very temperamental and can be prone to problems and issues if done. So now I am confused whether to do it or not. Plus then the warranty issues if something was to happen.
