Hi Folks
Total newbie to the VW brand. That said I've always wanted a Golf GTI or Golf R. Now looking at buying a T6.1 Campervan - never mind lol.
The wait times and the costs for these things is horrendous. There are a few used examples around but nervous about the earlier DSGs and the EGR issues without the sort of piece of mind that a 5 year warranty brings. Also nervous about VW customer service although I don't have any direct evidence that it's more awful than many other brands when it comes to after sales service.
Anyway, plan is to hit the road at some point, probably in a T6.1. Need a vehicle with reasonable power and economy and perhaps a little charisma.
