Over many years I've owned more veedubs than I can remember or count. First air cooled Combies and Beetles. Later liquid cooled Caravelles, Transporters and Golfs. My alltime favourite is the 2.1L Combi. What a handler that was!
I'm not currently driving a VW although the wife gets around in a Toureg. Kind of thinking though, if a nice original Mk1 GTI turned up...
