Hi All, Forty six years after I had my first Golf in 1974, I've now have an MY19 Passat Wagon. Still discovering the ins and outs, and enjoy this machine.

Welcome back but as an owner of a MK1 Golf I can't help but think you're going backwards with the new Passat.

I can understand your sentiment. The Golf GTI and R were on the shopping list.
