I have a question on the mk6 gti mine is a 2010 build the steering wheel is it leather or plastic / vinyl as about 10 years ago a service guy where I take my car to get serviced i asked him the same question and he said it is fake leather and to not put any protectant or conditioner on it as he has seen them go white mine needs something ether to be cleaned or conditioned whith leather protectant I found an old brochure and it mentioned it was leather I needs something as I can see close up its starting to show ageing I was thinking mguiars leather cleaner conditioner ?as my car is kept well and need some advice would be appreciated much appreciate guys thanks.
