Well, I am no newbie to VWs, having variously owned a Tiguan, Polo, R32, R36 and currently a 3.6ltr CC. Currently logged into this forum as m RNS510 unit won' start in the mornings. Completely blank. OK later in the day when warmer. VW reckon the head unit needs replacing at $6,200. a bloody ha. I tend to think there is a 'cold solder' issue with power wire.
Anyway, the point is: has anyone else had this sort of issue with this GPS unit?
Also, does anyone have a good recommendation for a third-party replacement unit?
