Hi there,
My very first car was a 1978 Mk1 Golf that I bought second-hand as a new graduate. The loan was at 18%, it was white and I learned how to fix my way out of trouble.
I then moved to Alfa Romeos, and a series of company cars before leaving that sort of corporate life and went back to a Golf - a Mk 5 automatic. After six years, I sold it and bought a 2011 Mk6 TSI 114, which is what I drive now.
I'm here to add my knowledge, and share in other's stories and hopefully learn how to avoid pitfalls and save some money in the process.
