Looking for some help as I have a 1996 T4 - 2 litre has an issue with the engine 'hunting' at idle, flat spots at low revs and stalling on idle. Leads, rotor button, distributor cap and many hoses have been replaced but the problem remains. I’ve been told the map sensor is failing and (probably) needs to be replaced although as the map sensor is integral to the computer and they are synchronised which means I need to get my existing map sensor reprogrammed/rebuilt.
Does anyone know if there’s a place in Melbourne I can send my map sensor to for an overhaul? I would be very grateful for any advice.
