Hi all. I’ve got a 2008 caddy maxi with 1.6i and 5speed manaual. This motor is locked up. I also have a mk5 Jetta with 2.0 FSI and 6speed auto to fit to caddy. Mechanically the swap looks doable but the Jetta loom will need to be used partly at least I think. Does it splice in to the caddy loom ok? The Jetta is hiline controller and caddy lowline which I’m not sure they talk to each other but both vehicles are the same generation so hopefully it may work out. Does anyone if the FSI will be a workable swap? Cheers.
