Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    G'day from Sydney

    Hi all, just came across this forum so decided to sign up own a MY15 VW Jetta, needing help with independent mechanics in Sydney area if anyone could recommend.
    Due for a 45k service plus have some warning lights on dash related to ESC failure / abs warning light. Local mechanic hooked it up to diagnostic scan and came back with rear abs sensor however the sensor is still recording speed data could it still be faulty? Thanks in advance

      Hi kamold, thanks for your reply I'm in Parramatta region, happy to drive to see a good independent. Anyone here currently working for VW service department and if they work from home for service? As the car is out of warranty so I don't see a point going to dealership. Thanks
