Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Third car purchased 2013, 2005 Mitsubishi Challenger 4wd. - Great except the high fuel consumption. 150k odo, 8.5k purchase price incl stamp and 3 months rego

Fourth car purchased dec 2018 - 2012 VW Passat 125 tdi highline w/park assist. 73k on the odo and 14.4k purchase price incl stamp and 6 months rego. (13.6k excl on roads)

Got sick of the povo spec family hacks. Now the kids are a little older and I can afford a bit more we wanted something a little more comfortable.

Shes still with the dealer to get a tidy up and a few non stat warranty items sorted that I negotiated in as conditions of sale.

      Congratulations! Looks tidy

Not sure what happened to the original post. May have got caught up in the spam filters and needed approval.
