Im tony, have been a keen VW owner most of my driving life just bought my first watercooled VW, 2018 GTI original in red DSG and Tech pack, have always owned air cool from beetles, kombies and type 3,s oldest was a 63 type one and youngest a 79 micro bus deluxe. I teach automotive engineering and am a huge tech head, love to modify and restore cars and bikes, absolutely love the gti, it gives me that fizz you get from driving a well sorted car. just the right amount of power and torque for a 1300kg car and not too much intervention from electronics. I think this is going to be a fun car

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
