My daughter from Qld in Richmond Vic for couple months as her mother in care at hospital near there .
My daughters Golf Highline Diesel 2018 is overdue for service
Any recommendation independent european service mechanic in Richmond area ?

Volkwerke in Doncaster is highly regarded for VW/Audi servicing. Its only about 20 minutes away from Richmond. http://www.volkwerke.com.au/

Another place that I personally have not heard of (but they are Euro car specialists and have good Google reviews) is RM Autohaus who have a small workshop in Richmond and another larger workshop in Hawthorn. This might be the way to go simply from a convenience point of view. https://rmautohaus.com.au/

The only options that are closer are VW dealerships. So if your daughter is happy to pay the premium for dealership service (which in my experience is a much higher price and lower quality of workmanship) then that is the only other option that is close.
