Warragamba isn't open to the public at the moment - it's a construction site (unless you mean the picnic area in the town).Originally posted by The_Hawk View PostSo Sunday August 31 at a location yet to be decided. Get together and answer the question once and for all. Is it worth the money?
I would also call for suggestions on a location for a meet. I'm thinking one of the Dams like Warragamba or Avon or Napean or somewhere like Stanwell Park. We are not looking for a race track, rather just some average roads, but also somewhere we can drive in and out of easily without having to worry about parking or too many people around.
As for the other Dams - the roads around them are rough but not very twisty. Also lots of "we hate people in cars" picnicers on the weekends.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic
I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums

True, any suggestions of alternative places that have both a bit of parking, a little bit of twisties or at least a little bit of road (without having to drive 30 minutes in a loop every time) and preferably away from houses so we don't "concern" the locals too much.Originally posted by brad View PostWarragamba isn't open to the public at the moment - it's a construction site (unless you mean the picnic area in the town).

I keep thinking about the Southern Highlands... maybe the back of Picton, or the run between Tahmoor and Bargo, even if you base it at Avon dam in Bargo (or at the pub
) There is a kick arse fish and chip shop or I think there is a KFC at Tahmoor now...
It also leaves the Picton road for the drive in and out, which is always fun

Cataract is open - it's the one with the long driveway & the scout camp.
/google maps...... I think Avon is shut -which is a bugger because it has the most suitable road (twisty but low speed).
What about Broughton Pass?carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

This sounds like a really good idea. I'm willing to give my car up for a bit of scientific testing... I'm running KW V2's, with stock sized tyres and rims, the first thing I did to my car (apart from all of the repairs!), and it has been probably the best upgrade possible to the car.
I can't really say how they stack up against other coilovers, but I guess this is what we'll determine on the day.
