Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Any Photos from the split run in Tas?

Had a good day along with fellow watercooled enthusiasts.
Was a good day supported by 6 Golfs plus 2 others that took the shorter route to Buckland. Poor mikinoz could only go as far as Richmond as he had family commitments. Good company, and a friendly social occasion. Pity the plod nailed someone near Swansea, oh well, it happens!!! Thanks to those that did support the event, I mostly had fun!!!???!!!!

Yeh i had a top day aswell. Got the cobwebs out of the system thats for sure! The plod surely put a pinch on us for the rest of the day. Bad moment for the pack leader, the rest of the wolves were in hot pursuit, Unreal day, bad luck for Mikinoz but thanks for showing and cruising some of the way. Thats two water cooled runs and both have been close to my favorite events.

Next event is BASKERVILLE later in the year. Spewing i will be away for it, but i will be in Germany so thats not so bad.

You guessed it in one Rad '83 the police man and he wasnt real happy. We werent going to fast , only just over on that one rare occasion from memory. We covered around 300kms by the time the day was over.

Keyboard Kowboys dont know how much fun they missed out on!!!!

I think we are going to need one more of these before the baskerville event Golf cart. It was to much fun to wait that long for another.

I think someone needed to put his undies on the outside, he got a bit of air in those pics.

Looked like fun. Nice Golfs Guys. It helps if you give precise directions and meeting points if you want a good turn out. I was in Tassie and would have come along, but didn`t understand your cryptic clues. Next time

I thought the Orange was low, but that Dakota Beige Mk1 is lo as... Nice Cars Guys.
