VIC DoVW 2008

That's right, it's on again.


The 2008 Day of the Volkswagen will be held on the 16th of Novemeber! (a sunday)

Location is Cranbourne racecourse in Cranbourne.

DoVW is of course, is Melbourne's premier VW show, held by VW Club Victoria.



I started this thread so people can start organising their holidays, and cars and ROADTRIPS around this date! (wink wink nudge nudge sydney guys)


So if anyone has questions regarding DoVW, shoot them up here, and I'm sure someone (not me probably...) will be able to answer them. I'm just going off info from the VW Club Vic site ( http://www.vwclub.com.au/index.php ) and off AVDubbers.

Im very tempted to make the trip over for this aswell! Im always over in Vic, so this is another great excuse to come over and take the dub for a nice long drive Also be a great time to meet some of you other guys/girls!

Good to hear there is lots of enthusiam, (hey - my "o" key is working again! -yay) for DOVW.

Usually it's known as pretty big meet for beetles, so a good showing of watercoolers would be great! I'm not going to start up a list of peeps that are coming (it's too far off for that yet) but hopefully nothing comes up that will stop people coming.

For the people that are roadtripping from interstate, I'll let you start up your own specific threads, but the sooner we can some "solid" numbers, the sooner we can organise accomodation! it's a bit hard since we don't know the location of DOVW (yet), but really, that doesn't matter that much, as it's only 1 day of like a four day weekend, - if I'm making any sense at all. I'm sure we'll do other things, pre-event events kinda thing on saturday and friday even.

basically, if you want free accom, I'm sure there'll be a few free beds, first in best dressed. Don't worry Mischa, you've already got a place . and then the sooner you'll can book accom at a suitable location. (if need be)

oh and p.s. - roadtrip's -yeahhhhH!!!
