VITS Pt1

Weeks leading up....

I was dreaming of working on my Mk3. That didnt happen. I rode my bike, rode a bit more and sat on FB.

Im driving along Burwood hwy and I see the biggest fan boy ive ever seen top down, sunglasses on, hair blowing in the wind with the most camp smile ive seen on his face. There on the other side of the road is Pat driving the matt black VR6 cabby that stu built and then Rawrence had for a while. A few quick texts and im sworn to secrecy of Pat's new purchase.
Tim has convinced Pat to buy the VR'd cabby as he is new daily, as Pat's old VR6 is getting a hair dryer bolted to the side of it.

Well a bit of borrowing of some parts, a few white lies, late nights and running around Pat n Tim have RW'd, repainted and rebuilt themselves a car. Wheels and suspension are on point.

Im still sitting on FB. (I did help Pat n Tim)

Friday

My GF has headed to New York and im a free man for the next month. Its a normal Friday at work but social media is going wild #vitsprep, chat and other groups are ZAANNNGGING.
Its 3pm and half the boys are 4 beers down and im building some kids bikes.
East Side Melbourne crew are meeting in Cold Stream at 6:30. Im horny for VITS

You woldnt believe but just as im packing up I get locked out of work. BAD BAD BAD words.
No phone, keys, camera or way of getting back in.
I have my car keys n wallet.
Im late to Dylan's for my copilot ride and we are late to the meet point with Pat n Brook arriving after us.

Smooth sailing along the Hwy and then Tim's of the blower "pull over Brook's broken down". Wast expecting a full road side rebuild but after a few hours of fluffing around we were back in action.

We arrive at Glenrowan BP/Maccas at Midnight, cold, hungry and still pumped for the weekend. Macca's is bloody $$$$ rip of merchants

Finally getting to Albury at 1:30am to a cabin park full of cars is ace, drunk mexicans and people already passed out. I falled into bed about 2:30 to spoon with Pat and Paige.

VITS Pt2

Saturday

After a horrible sleep and missing the dawn service we wake up to some horrible weather and drag our bums down to meet the others and have some breaky. Then line the cars up to cruise over to Bright.
About 10mins into the cruise we all pull over, as im sure most of your know large convoys are hard work, stop puller, rev it up, pull ya ****s, touch each other then get a photo. Well old mate Gino hasnt learn how to do up his bolts yet. You'd think he's have learnt last time.

Back to Albury with cars going all different ways. I was riding with Jarred in the 80 series with Sneaky Pete and Ruby, quiz games and n00dz kept us entertained when jarred wasnt boosting his turbo and laying black lines.

I have to say everyone was very very lucky with the Law. Props to the Police for being kind to all us idiots.
Cars washed, wheels changed, clean undies and we piled up in cars for our 50+ booking at Paddy's to fight some army people and get a parma.

That night the party back at the park....... THINGS WENT.... YEAH

SUNDAY Show Day

Ehhhhhhhh out of bed. WTF did we do last night!
Showers, complaints and wash more cars. Some how clean up the place!

Get down the show, park up, talk sh*t get hit, play around, sook about hangovers and want to get home.

I judge so didnt get to talk crap with you all but well done. \
