Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Racetracks aren't usually that bad in the wet. Just drive at 9/10ths and get your lines right.

oh well, that ended quick. hopefully the fix is not going to be too costly for the poor RWD car...
nb: anyone wishing to do sprint or timeattack it is highly recommended to do a few defensive / advance driver training courses first. it'll potentially save you a lot of things! they teach you a lot of techniques that you don't learn from normal street driving / L learner courses / etc... our driver licensing system only requires you to obey the law and pass the tests, but they don't want to invest or push new drivers to learn driving skills like in Findland where majority of WRC champions come fromLast edited by nat225; 14-02-2015, 10:08 AM.Mitsubishi Pajero Sport - Super Select 2WD/4WD

Great photos from sandwg.
Do you mind sharing what camera/lens setup you were using?
Keen to know the shutter speed for the panning shots.
I didn't get many photos this time since i had to coordinate the handover to Gav and speak to QR about the excursion.
