can I just make a suggestion if not too late - can we maybe leave via Mt. Nebo / Glorious and then get to the route you've planned? you can still get to Maleni and that via Sommerset damn etc... it's cool too, I've only done it on motorbike but should be fun by car!

Yea that'll be way too long in one hit - I can't stand cruises at are all driving from dawn to dusk. Plus I think the guys have already done that run beforehand, hence it not being on the cards in the first place

So I'm now confirmed. I'm heading out to lovely Central Queensland on the Monday after but I've got permission from the boss at home that I'm allowed to come out and play.
Oh yeah I had an idea too. If possible we need to get a photo taken of all VWs across three lanes at Burpengary going across the speed camera lines.
I know it's a stupid idea and it did sound better in my head but I still think we should do it.

Calling all the ladies

Hi all,

My wife Kathy will be accompanying me on the drive and has asked for any other wives or girlfriends to also come along. She suggested that maybe the girls might not be too keen to come as not all speak fluent veedub (apparently it is a language that we all speak) and might feel out of place with all the guys and our cars and if they know others will be along for the drive they maybe more likely to join in.

I'm in a conundrum, I have been holding out on going for a spirited drive until my bits and pieces go in, in fact as much as i love driving my car ive been weight in baited breath for it to go in i can just imagine what itll be like when i get it all put in. And i just dont know if i feel like driving it the way it is. (does this make sense to anyone but me) So do i drive this run or do i jump in and find out what another car feels like????

Ummmm dont want to hijack the thread, but ebc turbo rotors for the front and ebc yellowstuff for all 4 wheels plus martini fluid and koni sports kit. Should stop and corner nicely.
