    No worries mate.
    I understand completely.

Now we just have to cross our fingers that it is fine tomorrow morning.

I like a bit of wet. It lubricates many things..

At least you all drive fwd and awd. Not like those pesky 1 series BMW when Jeremy Clarkson spun out of control on a runway in a straight line when comparing to a GTI ...

That is why we restrict the event to FWD/AWD vehicles in the most part.
The few exceptions are our friendly Euro Marque drivers who play nicely anyway given they wouldn't want to damage their cars.

AWD and FWD easier to control and correct, safer, we should not have too much drama driving sensibly on wet.

RWD drivers may call us pussy, but fact of life is that unless you are experienced and skilled in handling a RWD, being T boned from the opposite traffic on corners, light pole and trees are not pleasant moments, as RWD cars do tend to oversteer.

Driving in the wet means you really need to get your lines right, and smoothness is the key wet or dry but you notice it more in the wet

Having said that driving in the wet has never bothered me, well not while in the 4-Motion anyway

Although it will be a shock for the car, it hasn't been driven in the wet for years as it's not my daily driver.

                Still hoping for dry

There is a little photo hut just after the exit of the hairpin.
It is covered and should provide some protection from the elements.

                                Thanks.

My camera is weather sealed though so I can take photos in harsh conditions. And I have before, can be rewarding
