I have done some really great rack days in the rain in the UK. At Castle Coombe you barely had to slow down at all.

I have taken up weather watching as a bit of a hobby and it should be fine for us.
Unless it is bucketing down and there is water covering the track they generally let us out.

Fingers crossed for dry. I got the red polo back so will be there tomorrow. What better way to see if everything is now sorted than to give it a run.

I completely understand if people aren't happy to run in the wet, the entire event is designed for us to have a fun and spirited drive at a level we are comfortable with.

Having said that, i would assume people will drive to the conditions of the day and if it is a damp track, we shouldn't see people drivng at 9/10ths trying to set lap records etc so it should be no more dangerous than driving on the roads.

I figure that my goal is to get a little better each time at driving on track, and as I will never be doing that in the wet in the future (until I get a dedicated track car) , I have no desire to get better at it.
