If they win, next time you know people buying houses next to a motorway will ask for the government to close it down!

It's great we have some new participants, though may I prompt them to ensure they are familiar with the rules from page one. It keeps it safe and flowing for all, which equals fun for all.

And use it to learn track driving skills, use the track width, if you see a car taking good lines try following the lines, find safe braking points (without heroics ). Than try your own lines to see what feels better. If it feels smooth and flowing, you're doing it right.

tips: Turns 1 and particularly turn 2 have a late apex, once you've hit the apex, you can start unwinding steering lock. If it requires a secondary steering input, you've missed it or cocked it, lol. Start at a reasonable, though safe pace and look through the corners.

Once you've hit the numbers, Clay, can some people show up just for lunch and pay at the track or will that be restricted too?

I can't commit to making lunch, but if at all possible I'd like to come out just for that.

I will echo Sean's comments and ask that everyone please familiarise themselves with the rules in the first post.
Our priority is safety for the vehicles and the people in them.
Make sure you stay left when not overtaking/cornering so that people can overtake and if people catch up to you/flash you then let them overtake and try to play catch up later.
We have a few high powered cars attending this one and i would ask that they play friendly (i.e. don't bunch up the traffic on the twisty bits then tear off down the straight and not let anyone else past).

Sharkie, I can put you on the list for lunch and you can pay me when/if you turn up.
If you want to ride shotgun you will obviously have to pay the track fee of $33.50 though.

The rules are simple and all stated on post # 1.

Watch your mirror, be aware of your surrounding all the time.

This is not a track day and safety is important.

On public roads no one likes being blocked by a car doing far below the speed limit on the right lane yet oblivious of his / her surrounding.

On track, no one likes driving behind a high powered car that takes all corners with lack of enthusiasm but sees the long straight like a 1/4 mile. All Polo drivers (many of them this time) wont like this type of car

Thanks for the insight for turns 1 and 2. This will be my first time to QR so much appreciated!……...

The Fabias out this time folks. Brash is out for the count. Not well at all. Hope to get to QR and or Lakeside when I get a better grip on my health. Already have a helmet for Sprints so I better not get any worse. Pray to the Gods of Motorsport for me.
