I didn't get there till after 1pm, too late to enter. Looks like there was only one other MK1 there. I probably should have parked nearer but I wasn't sure if I could if I hadn't entered.

Thanks. I did consider it, but I'm not really a flashy show off sort of person . And I'm not a morning person!

I think the previous owner entered it in 2005 - don't think it won anything that year.

Our old MK III Golf, now owned by our son, took home the trophy for the MK III's era. He was also a great help by helping me with judging.

Our 2003 Polo, 1.4, 16V. Trophy winner 1st outing (very lucky) . Still alot of work to do before DOVW in Melb. Nov 30th.

Any way, I hadn't prepared the car other than to give it a bit of a wash. The wheels and interior need some cleaning.
