Was a nice show, good weather and some really nice cars!

Loved the MK2 Gti dumped on the Borbets, sooo yummy

Got a few pics ill put up soon, and mate got a fair few aswell.

Shame there werent more MK3s and Golfs in general, but still a decent turnout.

I was sitting behind the new red Beetle with the white rims that won an award most of the day.

The end result is ....109 cars to judge....140 cars altogether on the park.

This is the highest number in my 11 years with the Club.

Many thanks for the people from this site who attended, to help make this a record breaker.

PS....the Polo was 1st in class....the T4 was 1st in class (the only entrant, have I frightened them away?).

The T4 was also in the mix for Car of the Show. So, despite preparing 2 cars, and only doing 50% job on each, an excellent result.

Thanks to those who came and said Hallo during the Day, perhaps next year you may want a job to judge a Class?

I was there with the golf - parked on the side as I didn't enter it. Heaps of good cars. I'll post some pics later.

Would I be correct in saying your old mk3 beat the Corrado Maris?

I expected the Corrado to take car of the show it really did get that much attention. At one point no less than four young but well endowed ladies ran over to look at it. Mental frankly!

Did you have a close look at the BBS wheels on the Corrado?
