Thanks Matt for organising another great day at the track.
It was unbelievably hot out there - the in-car temp was reading 46.5 degrees at one stage of the afternoon. Funnily enough my street tyres didn't really enjoy the punishment in the heat and I had to keep myself to 2-3 lap sessions before they lost grip.
Impressive times by the 86s really shows how decent brakes and rubber are far more important than horsepower at the track, particularly one with such a short straight as Wakefield.
Was a great day out regardless of the heat and slow lap times.Comment
