Hi all
RTDC’s will be kicking the holiday season off with a bang with our inaugural track event held at Wakefield Park Raceway on Friday 20th December 2013.
This event will be run under an AASA permit.
RTDC member entries are $198.00 with non-members being $215.00.
We will be running 4 groups in 15 minute sessions (Maximum of 44 participants). Groups will organised based on previous experience &/or car performance. These groups may be shuffled around during the course of the day to ensure drivers are in the most appropriate group.
Timing will be provided at this event, however we will also be running several un-timed sessions during the day to allow passengers for either hot laps, or driving instruction for those who are new to the track / track driving.
Gates are open from 7:00am with all participants requested to arrive at the track no later than 8:15am on the day to ensure adequate time to sign in & collect your timing transponder. At sign in, drivers will need to present their CAMS L2S license, or purchase an AASA License ($50.00 for one year) should one not already be held. You will also be allocated a group during this time.
The drivers briefing will be held at 8:45am sharp (By yours truly) with all participants required to attend. Enclosed shoes, long sleeve shirt, long pants & ADR approved helmet are also a requirement for all drivers & passengers. Helmets are available for hire from the venue, however limited supply / sizes are available.
RTDC has also negotiated a special discounted rate of $50.00 per person (Normally $60.00) for those who wish to stay at the Wakefield Park cabins. After the conclusion of the event, the RTDC Team will be hosting a BBQ at the Wakefield Park Cabins (BYO) to which all are welcome to attend.
