Rosy (Tiguan TDI), Madz (Polo GTI), Amber, Angus and myself (Multivan TDI) would like to thank all the people from Melbourne and my locals who attended the early morning detail at my work prior to the GAD! Yes we did some running repairs and some minor suspension tweaks in prep for the show. It was very nice to meet you all. YES even you Ali Hope to do it again next year.

It was a great start to the day and Madz drove in her 1st convoy. (She was stoked).

Thanks also for respecting my workshop.

GAD 2013

Sorry to say i think it was one of the most 'average' German Auto Fests (now german auto display) that i have been to in the past almost 10 years.

It really lacked any atmosphere and was disappointing to see that after we requested to park the cars on an angle instead of "car park style" because apparently 'there is not enough' room with over 20 places free was a bit average to say the least.

I think it was my last GAD unfortunately! And we drive every year from Sydney for quite a few years now, but this year i even left early..

I appreciate all the efforts put in to create and hold the event, but really... there was nothing there. It was a car park and felt like a swap meet almost! Understandably the lawns were soaked and we couldn't use that area. But i felt it was more paid volkswagen parking that an event..

Hope next year will be better and more watercooled guys get off their ass and turn up as well.
