The last one was really good. Everyone had common sense and good consideration. Also people drove at similar pace. Let's hope the next one will be the same

In the BMW track day, there was a Falcon V8 driver who was holding up on every corner, got moved to the lowest group. In the Timeattack, the organiser either give warnings or if already in the lowest group probably banned.

Toyota 86 GTS Performance Pack Moon Slate - RWD
MINI Cooper S Clubman - FWD

I can corroborate. There were a few instances of cars slowing down on the back straight to allow faster drivers to overtake. I remember Migs overtaking there once and Nat slowed down for me but I signalled him to just keep going. As polite and thoughtful as it is, it's always up to the overtaking driver whether or not to make the move, keeping in mind it's happy laps and you're among friends and no one wants their cars coming together.

Will have to put my name down for the next one, didn't realise that cars had to be regoed to take part. Student funds means that my mk1 won't be renewed til at least next month

and I always slow down (by actually maintaining my line on the very left all the way from the last corner to after the kink, and even brake lightly instead of doing a 1/4 mile rush) on the long straight whenever i see a car (fast in corners) on my mirror. this way, Al / Ben / Sean / Don / etc.. and even for Rhys, so they get to enjoy the corners enthusiastically without me being too close in front of them & i get to learn their lines too! safer gaps, happy drivers, happy laps!!

And this is what it's all about.
I want to remind everyone that it is happy laps, not a race so it doesn't matter if you get overtaken or if you held your "position".
If you get waved past on the back of the circuit then that's fine with me but we want these to remain safe and enjoyable for all concerned, not to cause headaches and red mist which could cause any stupid behaviour.

There was a good comment posted in the V17 thread that i think needs to be read by everyone.
