Gotta love the lift-off oversteer

Why buy a RWD car to drift when you have lift-off oversteer hehe. It was accidental that time though, I entered the corner too early that time.

I am trying to shortlist who was in the Supra. What he did to The_Egg was inconsiderate and his lines were awful and took the straight like a 1/4 mile. Just inconsiderate and disrespectful to existing Happy Lappers. I think he was a mature person though or rather old, but still being old or full of testosterone doesn't give high level of self entitlement to ignore other drivers on track.

What he did caused some frustations to others in a VAG car and should be banned!
We should really put down the car type again for the next one.

this the rule from the main post:
I am having this open to forum contributors and you can invite a family member in their car (no friends this time sorry) if they are in a Euro car as well.
Anyone can come and passenger with you.
also, we should get Lakeside (QR Ipswich does it) to issue wrist band for the driver when paying would be a good idea to stop any possible intruders.

It's so easy for someone not listed to slip into the track without confirmed by Clay imo from an audit point of view.

I too think this is a good idea. Didn't there used to be a wrist band thing early last year? That would point out any gate crashers instantly. I think he was an older guy as well.

I hope that I can make a vast improvement on the lines next time...after watching Machines video under pro instruction I think I have better understanding of the track.

And...limit the passenger count to 1...taking 2 people was stupid.

Hope to have Anti-lift kit, rear X brace, mid brace and rear sway by the next one. The back gets a bit loose around Karousel. But that might have just been my newb line.

On a side note...has any "street car" come close to the lap record at Lakeside?

Cool list of planned mods, but I don't think they'll correct the loose rear end. The rear sway will induce a livelier rear, causing more oversteer, making the back go from a bit loose to a lot loose.
If I may say, and this is a generalisation because I don't know you, optimise your wheel alignment, choice of tyre and tyre pressures before modifying handling. Work with what you've got, perfect your lines and get to know your car really well. I think then you'll have a much better idea of where it's lacking in terms of handling. Otherwise you'll be adapting your driving according to the bits you've tacked on, instead of the other way around. Rather than working to get more mods, you'll be getting the right mods to work for you.
