How about this for an idea: Athelstone to Lyndoch via Palmer, Mount Pleasant and Williamstown

Meet at the Athelstone shopping centre next to the BP/On the Run which has coffee for those that need it. Then up through Gorge Rd, out the back of Palmer and end up at Lyndoch bakery for lunch.

Good idea Damien. On possible alternative is to head out to Mannum for lunch, and then back via Murray Bridge:

Athelstone to Adelaide via Mt Pleasant, Mannum and Murray Bridge

We haven't been to Mannum/Murray Bridge before. Perhaps we can have 2 routes back - one Southern loop via Murray Bridge/freeway and a Northern route back through Mt Pleasant, Kersbrook and Chain of Ponds.

Well it was a select bunch that made it out to Mannum. Weather was kind for the majority of the cruise - only a light sprinkle on the way back along the freeway.

Just looking at dates for the next two events and it looks like our October cruise is on the long weekend. I'm going to suggest pushing it out a week to the 11th if that suits people.

There's also a coffee night coming up in a couple of weeks too if anyone has any suggestions/requests. Not sure I'll be around for this one as I've got a few work trips in the next month.
