Adelaide: Monthly Coffee and Drive Meet - Discussion Thread

OK this is just a suggestion for an alternate route using a section of last weeks "early" cruise.

Taylor Blende Café to Athelstone via Lenswood, Mt Torrens, Palmer, Springton and Williamstown

I am happy either way. There are a few more 100km/hr roads on this route (takes us out the back of the 80km/hr hills zone).

?.the weather is looking spectacularly good for the cruise on Sunday. It's always a bit of a lottery running a cruise in winter but the forecast looks like a pearler!

Looking forward to seeing everyone... and I think a coffee will be in order to warm up before the drive.

Man, some peoples idea of what constitutes nice weather is plain weird. As depressing as the sunny forecast is I accept the dry run should be fun. The coffee is locked in as a must have so I'm aiming for a 9.30 arrival.

Clear blue skies, sunshine and a crisp morning in the hills = perfect turbo weather.

And you guys with FWD ought to be happy that the roads will be dry too.

I could include an uphill wet dirt road into the route to test out the non-Haldex cars if you like

Yeah I have a heater, the cold is good. I just dislike sunny weather..

Can skip the wet dirt road though - reschard will dirty his car.

Good turnout guys.Was nice to see the array of VAG.Apologies for leaving early but highway boys in blue and trade plates on sundays don't mix well..lol....even tho the Big 8 was loving the twistys.
