Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Just putting it out there.
Easily handle 50 cars, not mentioning if it rains, the uncover car park can also handle probably as much.

I can't speak for the rest of you, but I have spent a lot of time, effort and money modifying my Polo so it is fun to DRIVE. I turned up to the last meet, at Rocklea, Tennyson and at Newmarket. It was the first I've ever been to and it was boring beyond belief. I understand that sometimes it's nice to look at each other's cars, but I would really like to see these awesome cars actually driven like they should be. From what I can gather, you forum blokes are a bunch of pansies who would rather stare at each others cars than see them put through their paces.
How many of you have actually been to the track? Not just for a BBQ Breakfast, where you are warned not to drive faster than road pace, but to an actual track day?
Can we please, please go for a cruise over the local mountains, or the border ranges? Surely there's someone out there that actually enjoys the fact they own a quick car? Twice now I've tried to organise a night at the Willowbank test n tune, but not one person bothered to turn up.
It frustrates me so much to see the effort that has been put into your vehicles, only to see you fuss over tyre pressures, warranties and what type of LED bulb to install.
I'm sure that a large proportion of you will not agree with me, but if any of you feel like going for a drive, an actual drive, please get in touch with me because I'm as keen as a bean.2011 Polo GTI: APR Stage 1 tune, Harding Performance CAI, Whiteline sway bars, Insane driver

If I'm honest, I'm more into perfecting/practicing racing lines and braking points etc rather then drags. I choose not to do proper track days because of money, the fact I only have 1 car and if something happens to that car I'm screwed for uni and work. Because of that, I don't think I'd push too much harder than at 'happy laps'. There are quite a few people that attend the 'happy laps' that also do proper track days.
I'm all for a mountain run like through the back of the GC or near Mt Nebo etc. that'd be great.sigpic TRADED THE BEE'12 Sport Yellow/Black Citroen DS3 DSport THP155 6-spd manual w/ tech pack.
