Lakeside Laps v13 - 24 February 2013

Thanks everyone who came out. We only ended up with about 15 or so cars out there.

Oooh, I was wondering why it was so clear. Had a great time, track dried pretty quickly. Props to the Lotus missing the wall, I would of been makin' some brown.

Also, video of the fastest lap. Using the Luxa H5 mount.

Got some video coverage of full action of lotus as I was right behind him.
Also almost 200 photos taken by D300S DLSR and quite surprisingly most of them are of good quality.

All in all great day and responsible driving - I was quite cautious today as driving with finance manager and in the wet as well.
Still managed to get some reasonable laps under 1 minute according to the videos.
Pity on the lotus - hope the damage is not too extensive and see ya all on a racetrack next month!

Hey mate,
My In-Car Video does 1 minute intervals recording and I seem to have gone from the same spot to the same spot in the video.
The "owner" said his fastest lap in Crewman with track tyres is 1:06 and he said its more than poss that we do under a minute with the fastest cars. I was driving A5 diesel drop top Stage 2 by ourselves (V-Tech) pulling about 305bhp according to Dyno.

Just waiting for bloody vimeo to process the videos now, pretty exciting

I don't mean to sound like a ****, but I'm willing to bet that there's no way you did a minute at Lakeside in that car in the wet during happy laps, if I was constantly cautioned for going too fast on the straight and I did a properly-timed 1:16. Is that why you came in? Did they pull you off?
