Looking forward to seeing the Up!

Apex photos will also be covering the laps so fingers crossed it's fine weather for us and make sure you wash your cars!

I don't really want to spend more than $80. I was going to mount my new little toy Nikon J1 on it.
I'm going to buy one and see how it goes (as soon as I remember my paypal log in... dang). It's a lot cheap than the belkin phone mount ($3 and I can use the missus' Sony NX5 camera which is the same sensor as Sony Action Cam video.
Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII

New tyres on the Polo so we'll see if it is any good.

Filter is a 5 minutes job so no excuses will be taken!

                • Okay, Lakeside has been given the final numbers so everyone who is on the reserve list will get auto-placed on the main list for the next one (unless we have any people pull out at the last minute tonight etc)

Lakeside said they expect it to still go ahead on Sunday morning.
We have friend tomatoes being organised instead of bacon for our vego friends.

So stoked! I've been practicing my heel and toeing. Going well so far but still needs some work. I do think I'll need the ceramic pads probably after this event or the next as I have noticed the cars brakes don't seem to be quite a on/off sensitive as they used to.

I'll be there. As long as it's not raining, I'll be running. Even if it's raining I'll be heading up to see my folks, hope they don't mind the dog on the leash again, the missus will look after him.

Rhys, it could also be your fluid which has boiled so deteriorated or your rotors have glazed. If you're tracking regularly (as you have been), would be worth changing the fluid to a higher temp. Glazed rotors are from cooking the pads, so sounds like an upgrade is needed, though would want to get the rotor machined at the same time, or upgrade rotor.

Kogan also has a sale on the Go Pro's if anyones interested.

I had the EBC redstuff before, and they squeeled and eventually crumbled to pieces on Marullan NSW race track. I also have seen crumbled EBC pads on another Golf GTI.

I have been using Stoptech Street Performance Pads and they have been performing very well on track and have not experienced any brake fade yet so far.. also very cheap too!
