Was pretty sure from the start there was going to be a good mk3 turn out ??

True that, there were heaps at allstars eurofest and this is another Sydney event so am assuming similar type of attendance? If lots of golf.net fellas are coming though that'd boost the mk5/mk6 numbers.

So just so everyone knows, my wife Megan and I (Aydan) will be helping to 'lead' the cruise on Sunday from Uncle Leos down to Stanwell Park.

I'll try to get around at the meet and introduce myself.... big dude with a beard.

We will be in a Blue Mk1 Cabriolet that looks a bit like this:


and we'll be heading at a pretty cruisy pace with my wife driving and me trying to take lots of photo's (not phone camera photo's like the above

We often make a couple of stops on the way for extra photo's.

Are there any southern dwellers wanting to pick up the cruise at some midway point?

Anyone with a pair of two-way radios that would like to 'lead from behind' would be fantastic, as there are the occasional cruisers that get lost due to traffic lights and such - helps if we are able to slow up at the front. If nobody gets back to me I might buy a pair on Saturday and I'll ask for a volunteer on the day.
