Hmm so does that mean the bulk of us who dont want to be judged but just participate should park in the General VW parking area via gate B. People who are entering the judging should enter via Gate A then park inside the main grounds?

Shame about the limited space within the grounds but seems to be an ok compromise. The show must go on afterall!

I'll just park where ever you do then Tim as i too have not entered for judging.

An update on the parking situation, things seem to have improved.

Hi Pete and Jodie,
I thought my emails were finished for the DOVW …. However

When I collected the key from the venue this morning I checked to see if the parking was roped off properly and the only rope was across the front area one paddock down from the presentation grandstand. I asked Matt the groundsman and we can now park in the full area in front of the two grandstands and the section to the left of the presentation grandstand.
So we have most of the space back for parking inside the venue.
We will keep using the jockeys car park for the walk ins and assemble the $25 pay on the day cars in the outside parking area from Gate B and at 9.00am let them in and fill as much as we can.
We will still have the rat hill gate open for pre-registered cars.
We just need to monitor it and if we fill it up then we stop cars coming in from the outside parking area and use that as an overflow.
We will move the cabriolet display back in front of the presentation grandstand and the B1 Passat display back in front of the main grandstand in the wetlands.

Would you mind putting an update on the forums for me please.

Absolutely fantastic turnout! Was great to catch up with everyone over the weekend.
Im glad we were pretty much able to squeeze most of the watercooled cars inside the venue.
