nice cruising!
hey guys..
Looks like an awesome day!!! very sad i couldnt make it!!... lots of nice dubs.. loons scirroco steals the show in my opinion!
a bit sad to see so few mk1s!! Thats partly my fault though!
glad you had a great day... dont ruin it now by putting others' cars down, how you "improve" your car is completely your own choice and people are entitled to their own opinions of what looks good... its great to see them out and about enjoying their vw's...
Congrats to those who organised the day and hassled people to get there!!
look forward to catching up and meeting people at the next event!!!TDI mk1 on the road!!

video of our cruise!!!
big thanks to nick,my bro inlaw!!!!!!
also guys, please,,, if this thread is going to turn into a slanging match with who is "riced" and who isnt, then ill be happy to infract anyone that gets out of line.AGAIN,its their own car and "what ever floats their boat",we are not here to critisize anyone of their modifications.this is not tex and this is not the way it is done on VWW.Last edited by Guest; 12-11-2007, 03:43 PM.

Every one has their own style of tuning, no matter what kind of car they drive. What keeps us strong, and our common thread, is our enthusiasm and love for the cars we drive. Apart from that, there should be no pressure to become a "clone" to a certain tuning style.
Take it easy everyone. There was a time (long time ago) when I drove a slammed, beige '83 Sigma, with chrome Dragway tubs, velour interior, green neons, muffler-less exhaust, and an armada of stickers, and I thought it was cool... Of course now I would laugh at myself, but at the time.... Point of not is that everyone is different. Please let us celebrate the differences and make the 'dubbing community stronger, rather than weakening us by segregation, and alienating people for liking their cars looking a different way to the way you like it...
Of course, if your having a go at riced-out Sigmas, by all means
Looks like it was a great cruise guys. Well done on the turnout. I'm sorry I couldn't be there, I would have loved it, but, alas - still no Mk2...
Cheers
