**** concept IMHO.

a) the cruise out was half the fun, and small to mid size cruises are much more enjoyable than this 100+ car cruise will be
b) the whole "secret location" make the "on public display" part null and void seeing as the public wont know where to go?!?!?
c) think more "hoon" based clubs like BCI are likely just give it a miss altogether...

Might be the last year german car day runs...

Even some of the Opel guys are saying they pretty much cant be bother with that setup...

That sounds like a very odd setup. I dont really see how the general public will be able to appreciate our cars this way?

That's pretty much what I said about last year's event as well...

Just been reading on opelaus German Car Day 2012 as well - they've contacted the organisers directly as they were trying to get one of the new Opel dealers on board with a display. That won't be happening if it's a "secret location"... I'd say you nailed it in one Steve with Whiteman Park, can't really think of anywhere else metro that might manage to get enough general public passing by to warrant the change. Hmmm
