you sure it was check engine? Could have been tc (traction control) due to inside spinning front wheel - they're both orange lights?!? My tc comes on a fair bit at lp due to the tight turns at karusell and eastern loop.
After today I am sure I need that little bit more power. Last round got raped by the AMG, this round is the Silver R32. Just my straight speed aren't quick enough.

Unfortunately a 1.4 4cyl can only go so well until the bigger engine cars just real them in.
The R32 got me pretty quick on the main straight as well.

Thanks too Clay!
Definitely the Check Engine light. Started on the straight when S mode (I know, I know... I went manual after that) decided to red line the gearbox. Then it taunted me with a slow flash for half a lap. Not sure of the significance...

Thanks again to clay for the great morning and for everyone driving safely. I found I was stuck in traffic after lap 3 so never really got a clean one after that those xr5's and rs's sounded sensational, oh and the lotus.

No worries.
Traffic was a little heavier this time, i think the RS/XR5's were a bit unsure of how it all works (like we were the first time) so we'll see what happens at the next one.

True. . . .I guess atleast she showed me she can do track really well. And I was surprise how good was the factory rubber, I drove it pretty hard to follow the R32 but I didnt feel like I was losing grip at all.
Oh well, will have the last try after the 200cell cat and bigger front pipe went on. Hopefully I can stay closing to the bigger cars next round.

Thanks again for the morning out guys and Clay for organising LS events as usual - I am still after 4 or 5 sessions this year not getting bored of the meets and it is great to see the usual crew + new comers every month. It is good to talk car **** with people who also are like minded.

It was good to see you in the mirror after the first couple of laps and I wanted to circuilate with you and the R32, but with that traffic in front I didn't see us getting through for playtime, though there was daylight behind you guys so I tried that instead (didn't succeed though). Our first lap was probably the fastest I did all morning, though I hadn't recorded it with the lap timer, doh. I got the second lap, at 1:14 which is when I let you and the R32 past.
I put the track segments in after the session, though in future I'll set it up at the start so at least when there is traffic I can play in the sectors rather wanting to find one clean lap. In combining the three fastest sectors, I would have done a 1:11.9, lap 6 had the fastest 2 sectors, but had to slow in the third by 6seconds. Lap 3 was my fastest complete lap. I can't recall what times I did in sprints out there, only did it once and the car was standard apart from lowered springs, I think it was 1:15's but that's a guess.

Yeah, it just seemed busier this time round. In the graphs above, you can see when I've come off the throttle at the 50sec mark. When I play the telemetry, its interesting to see when I've braked that bit later or picked up the throttle earlier. I can probably upload that video, will have a look at how to do that. Would be awesome to video it and have the telemetry overlapping. My dad was in the car but we recorded only one lap, I think it was lap 1 than we forgot about it, lol.
