Sounds like a possibility, Is it a requirement to have a fire extinguisher in your car? It is on other track days ive been to there.

            can you confirm the timing.

originally you mentioned 2.5 hours of track time, I assume their will be induction discussions etc, so if we start at 4pm, it will go till 7 pm or after? (where it will be dark and possible wet)

i'd prefer an earlier session if possible.

Are you able to give us some sort of day's agenda? ie is it all on the track, or will there be and training, skid pan, motorkhana etc

Yeah not a problem i will find out hopefully tommorow for you. I think there's like a 15minute safety meeting then its do what ever you feel like i think. Both the track and skid pan are booked.

                  count me in for that.
Let me know if we will need numbers too, coz I might have one or two dubbers that would be interested (providing forum members don't fill the spots)

The tuning sessions are the 15min brief and they you head out and do the track or skid pan. You can can the instructor with you if you want.

The performance sessions are with a instructor and they take you through driving style and etc. There is public tuning sessions where you can call up RAC and book but its only up to 12 people and its public so gets filled pretty quickly. They go from 3pm to 5pm and thats 2hrs of solid track time.

They are pretty up to date with driving in the wet and lower the speed on the track in sections where if you come off you will be kissing the cold stuff. Some guys have got their cars bogged, ripped bumpers off and etc but thats because they didnt listen to the instructor

Luke are you dealing with Lisa at RAC?

                        What time was that?

I rang up (Sorry been busy this week 3 mid semester tests) and apparently its about 5-7Min of safety briefing then from 2:30 to 5 of driving. Half the group is on the track and half on the skid pan.

We had both but we started from the skidpan, just drove straight through it and onto the track. It was 5 min briefing, and then onto the track. I think I did about 15-20 laps in about 1.5 hours and decided I had enough. In the end a lot of people give up or cars break down so you can get more laps in. I think it was well worth $65

Sounds like it was a good day Nik, pity I couldn't make it even though it was my b/day!

                            Keen for June though!
