WA Meet & Greet/Cruise - PERTH WA

Hey guys,

I'm relatively new to the forums, but I've owned my MK4 R32 for awhile however I've never managed to meet any of you or see many of you out and about in Perth.

I've seen plenty of great VW's around town and I was hoping at least some of you peeps could manage to come down if we organised a meet and cruise.

Lets figure out a time and place for this to happen and hopefully if we have a good turn out we can make it into some sort of monthly thing.

If we are going to be meeting, let's make it soon so there isn't this lag and people lose interest. I'd say this Sunday morning if anyone else is keen.

I was thinking more of a night meet. What about Sunday night? It's more than likely most people that are here will be sleeping in till at least Sunday arvo. Plus most people have plans for Friday & Saturday nights. We could have a meet and short cruise on Sunday night to finish off our weekends.

So how about Sunday the 5th @ 8pm?

Does anyone have any meet point ideas aswell?

Good idea but 8pm is a bit late to do anything on a Sunday night. A dusk cruise ending in a beer somewhere could be good?

PS: not that many of us are always out weekend nights and sleep in all morning sunday. We often do Leederville brunch cruises...

Ok so lets make it a 10.30 am meet with a 11.30 am depart and we can stop somewhere nice for a good lunch. I'm thinking a nice slow coastal run. Meet at the carpark of Salt on the Beach (cafe) next to Port Beach Fremantle and we can do the coastal run up to Hillarys Boat Harbour and have lunch and a few beers at the Breakwater Tavern.

Who's up for that? Spread the word!

Well I'll be there at 10.30am so everyone who is interested come along and let us know on here. Its just gonna be a casual drive up the coast, nothing special, no map etc, just follow the coastal road up. Might stop somewhere in between aswell to get some good photo ops etc. Should be cool.

Meet on the left hand side carpark of Salt on the Beach in Fremantle.

I've also got a two mates who have just recently each bought MK5 GTI's so i'll get them to come along aswell.

I'd love to come to something like this. I go on a few cruises and the euro turnout is pretty dismal, if any. Hopefully I can come.
