Ok guys and girls. Just a quick run through of the day.
Turn out was great. We had about 20 cars. Some turned off early and the rest of us keep going and battled through the weather, boy was it raining hard not long after we left. Up to Mt Mee where we stopped to have a chat and check peoples rides out. Luckily it wasnt raining at that point.
Onto Kilcoy we went, Where we stopped for lunch. Yum. Parked the cars up in a picnic area on the grass where there was a strange gathering of blue cars seperate from the rest of us.....And SAM. He then moved as he was out of place.
After lunch, a few guys needed to head back early and i think this is where the confusion started. EVERYONE but myself and Frazza turned right, which was the wrong way. It was left..... at that point Frazza made mention that we should of made run sheets with turn by turn directions, inlcuding maps........Oh hang on. We did do that, haha we were scratching our heads for a while.
Not to worry, after a few phone calls and a few people figuring it out we were mostly back together.
Then we went through some great twisties and come beautiful WET scenery. We really got a feel for our cars in the wet.
We ended up in Samford Village where we finished up.
Next month we wil be going south so stay tuned for that 1. We realize we had a scheduled stop at sumerset dam but decided to keep going as we didnt want stops so close together.
If anyone has any suggestions for feature cruises please let myself or Frazza know. We would be happy to hear.
Excellent to see the VW scene take off in Brisbane.

Thanks to everyone who came along, considering the weather it was really great to see so many people come along. The day went pretty smooth without too many hiccups apart from when everyone thought they were following me and went the wrong way, haha *If only we made a run sheet* Jokes, a few guys had to leave early so wasn't there fault, but we got it sorted and had a bloody good drive despite the rain. Thanks again
GO the RB!
