QLD VW Cruise. Sunday Jan 15th. 8am-12.

Hi Guys & Girls,

As previously mentioned (mainly via the "other" forum) we are trying to get a monthly cruise happening for Brisbane. We will try to make it every second weekend of the month.

Meeting at Mt Coot-tha. Car Park accross from the Botanic Gardens entry. This is the corner of Mt Coot-tha Road and Ada St.

Meeting time is 8am for a 8:30am Leave. SHARP

We will be giving maps and full run sheets out on the day. About 3 hours of driving with a stop for lunch. Heading north, cutting back to Kilcoy, sumerset dam then back to samford where the cruise will finish.

The below pictures show the meeting spot and a rough outline of the cruise. The red circle is showing where the botanic gardens entry is. The green circle is the meeting spot carpark.

Unfortunatley i already have plans for Sunday so i can't make it.

I will keep the second weekend free from happy laps organising though so you can keep this as a regular thing.

Thanks team_v for keeping in mind the second weekend of every month for the cruise. This will be a great day guys. Some good photos to be had too. We are going to be persistant with this cruise and hope to get more and more each time. The first 1 was in December and it was a fun day. We hope to do something different as often as possible and make it a good day.

I start work at 2pm, so can't do the full day, but might cruise out of town with you or something, don't finish til late Saturday night either, so will see how I feel lol.

Ok so we currently have 16 people coming and a few unknowns. We have the pub booked for about 20 people in Kilcoy which is great.

Should be a good sized group.

Next month we will start our monthly cruise trophy which will be awarded to a person each month for a variety of reasons.

Small meet at BP Yatala at 7am before cruising to first meeting point if anyone is travelling from the GC.
