NSW 28th August - BBQ GTG

Alright guys, so it's decided we'll have a BBQ on Sunday 28th August.

We'll be going to Brighton-Le-Sands. I'm not sure if we should hit up Ramsgate Beach, Cook Park or Peter Depena Reserve, it all depends on which one has the BBQ facility. Try and get there by 12pm - I'll be there at around 9:30 to buy stuff and grab a spot. I'll most likely be buying sausages and kebabs (just cos they're easy and everyone likes them) and some soft drinks so please bring along $5 with you if you're gonna eat with us. Kids eat free of course. There's a Coles nearby too if snags ain't your thing.

Ideas for location are the usual beach scenes or there is always a nice dam or two around Sydney.

If few from Syd go & few from canberra why not near Bradman Oval Bowral , bit of drive each way for both groups & pleasant surroundings

I'm all for setting things up halfway, as long as there's a decent amount of from Canberra too.

If those from Newcastle want to have a cruise down to Sydney for a BBQ too, it might stay within Sydney.

haha yeah, well it looks like we'll be coming up along the coast to make things exciting, and the guys dont really care where the BBQ is held so whatever is fine.

Keen for something coastal, there is that place in Brighton where the ClubVW guys do there Boris picnic every year nice place.
