Hey guys - thought id let the Novocastrians know first incase they were interested....

A guy who lives up the road from me is selling his Mk4 R32, its going on Carsales next week but he mentioned it to me when i saw him today incase i knew anyone who might be interested. All i know about it at this stage is:

Model: Mk4 Golf R32
Colour: Black
Kilometers: 85,000km (its due for a service apparently)
Price: $23,000

Overall condition is good. Its not immaculate, but it is in good condition. Its essentially a 1 owner car (was owned by his parents from new then he bought it a few years ago).

Ill have more info (including his phone number etc) and pictures in a few days.

Hey guys. Anyone heading to German auto fest ? I've bought a mk2 gti , and Its in Canberra , so I thought rather than going down soon , ill pick it up then and enter it at the same time. So if anyone's goin could I bum a lift ? Petty money and many lol's will be provided.

Is it the one in the classifieds here with the two Sony subs and Porsche wheels and badgeless grill etc. If so that looks nice man! Congrats. I'm probably going but unsure when and stuff and I live about an hour south but you can bum a lift if no one else is keen.

That's the one man. It'll soon have a turbo , coils , bigger brakes and a half cage. yeah that sounds good ! I could catch a train down your way. What are you taking down ?

Seriously! I can't wait for this! I was drooling over it the way it is haha.
Well there is a chance I might be heading up your way to pick up HaydEn and if that's the case I'll pick you up. If not catch a train down although it may be a very early train if I'm going down the Sunday (not sure yet). If all goes to plan I'm taking my mk3 vr6 but I'm having some problems at the moment so don't rely on me as there is a slim chance it won't be ready. In which case I'll be trying to get a lift down like you. hopefully all that made sense.

Well if your cars not ready. We could catch a train down ( 2.5 hours to Sydney , 4 hours to Canberra , bout 60 bucks if your a student. then drive back in my car when its all sorted. Stay the night somewhere cheap etc. drink lots of beer also. Yeah I'm mates with Hayden. So would be a fun trip.

I'm keen! Should hopefully have my car sorted by the end of this week though so probably don't have to resort to the train option.
