No worries - i just saw that thread. Perhaps thats a better idea.

On a slightly different note, who do you guys use for servicing? My car is due for its first 12month service (despite the fact its only travelled 7,500km and i did an oil change at 5,000km). I definetly WONT be taking the car back to Kloster VW as their service dept are utterly useless. My bother works at Skoda/Audi (same owner so he shifts between the two dealerships) and he got me a quote for $340 to get it serviced at Audi. At this point in time ill probably go with this option.
But i know European Auto Centre at Wickham also do log book servicing, its just that ive heard both good and bad reports about them.
Anywhere else around Newcastle that does Euro's and treats them with respect? Who do you guys trust with your pride n joy?Last edited by Lucas_R; 08-03-2012, 09:47 AM.

Work? Who for?
Lucas, I'd give Audi a go for sure. Especially at that price.
I work for a small urban design company based in Gosford, but we are looking at expanding into the Newcastle market to give the local boys a bit of a shakeup. Doing a fair bit of work for some mining companies as well.Audi S3. Sold
Golf R. Sold
Citroen DS3 Dsport. Sold
2016 Skoda Octavia RS Wagon.

Only problem with mereweather, is That you'll be buying new elctricals every year due to rust..

And cheers to y'all for info on the service centres. I might give European Car Centre a call (or swing past) to get a feel for them - otherwise ill go with Audi. Im a fussy mother fuc^ker so they better be top notch.

Exactly - although even if it was a $2,000 car id still be fussy. You cant put a value on good service...if you can find it, then stick with it. Im still trying to find it.....
