    Hi Guys,

Put me down as a maybe, I have a bucks day at the races on the 6th which could get a little loose.. Its a shame its not on another weekend, as I have been wanting to get the GTI on putty road for the last year.

    Cheers,

That would be awesome, the route selected is a really good one and a personal favorite. I use to always run it with the ozaudi guys back when I had an Audi. Wisemans ferry pub is not a bad feed..

Good to see other novacastrian's on the board, thought I was alone...

Is the run that bad guys? I mean, the run we did today had some **** sections, but for the most part pretty damn tidy. I'm happy to bear some potholes and whatnot. Just aslong as its not like driving a dirt road!

It could just work well as we can meet sydney guys who don't wanna come up to Gosford at the Putty Rd turn on.

Look, there's no way of keeping everyone happy. What we can do is have bimonthly or monthly runs, and it doesn't have to be the same route each time. What absolutely needs to be done first is what LogiK has done at the start of this thread - get the ball rolling.

Personally, I'll do any drive as long as I'm free. Let me know if you guys wanna do Blue Mts/Bells Line of Road instead - I'll set up a route and plan and such. Otherwise we'll stick to LogiK's original route through Putty which he has already planned out and written down to begin with.

Awesome. Has anyone done the ferry run recently and can confirm thats the right way to go for me? I haven't been on it for years, but I know a fork in the road one is dirt one is tarmac.

lets just do it. lets face it, we live in NSW. the proud owner of australias ****tiest roads. no matter where we go there is going to be a few potholes and bumps. slow down til it gets better then jump on the pedal again.

lets stick to the original plan. putty road, sydney guys meet @ windsor, newy coast guys meet at the olympic swimming pool on sunday the 7th. to those who cant make it something else will be organised soon.

                      am i right?

Sounds devine. Sydney guys will need to organise where you want to meet and when, I'll try and figure out when we'll be coming onto Putty Rd today sometime. So who wants to be added to the list?

Add me, I'm ok with any run we do, as long as it is on a Sunday.

Doing a bi-monthly run with a different route each time will keep the idea fresh and exciting.

Will do. I'll sort out the Sydney side of things then add to your original post.

I saw some work started on fixing the nastiest potholes around my way today so by the 7th I reckon the Wiseman's Ferry to Windsor part of the run at least should be free of the worst of them.

If this run becomes a monthly or bi-monthly event it would be good if it could alternate between Saturdays and Sundays.

Definitely, will need to accommodate for all. Just need people to chime in and also show up.
