I live out towards Wiseman's Ferry and I can tell you Old Northern Road is like a minefield at the moment, there are new potholes everywhere. In fact there are so many that they are going to have to move quick to fix them, there is no way they can leave the road in this condition for more than a few weeks, so it might work out better in the end.

It's ironic but at times like this the dirt road between Wiseman's Ferry and Bucketty is often in better condition than the tarmac roads around here.

That said, if it was a Saturday run I would come along despite the potholes, I'm a noob around here and keen to get out on the open road in my new Bora, but Sundays are no good for me.

To Blue Mountains on the M4/Great Western Hwy then come around and take Bells Line of Road on the way back towards Windsor? Or we can do the reverse and start at Windsor.

That sounds like a good route, seems to me it would be less likely to be blighted by potholes. Now just change it to a Saturday instead of a Sunday and I'll be there

Probably more fun to go up the Bells line of road and down the Great Western Highway

I just bought a Bora 4motion 2 weeks ago, so far it has done nothing more than the daily commute and one quick blast out to Berowra Waters.

I might be able to swap work. I usually do 8-5 Saturday's. I'll give it a go. What are we thinking interms of route? Gotta be something out in the scrub haha. What about Kangeroo Valley? Haven't heard what its like for ages. Meant to be nice.

                          Cam.

I'm probably the same, Sunday works way better for me. Lets toss up a few ideas for the route tho.
